How You Can Heal From Your Abortion (Or Help Others Heal)

bridges-4

Healing is not just about moving on; it is about finding real peace.

If you’re carrying emotions from a past abortion, whether it’s been weeks or years, you don’t have to navigate them alone.

We offer a warm, confidential space where you can talk openly, find support, and begin healing at your own pace. Everything is private and free because you deserve access to care that meets you with compassion, understanding, and hope.

Have you ever thought or felt any of the following?

If you’ve ever felt any of these things, you’re not alone. There is hope, healing, and peace waiting for you — even if you think you’ve already healed.

Bridges of Hope is a supportive, in-depth program for anyone navigating with thoughts and feelings like these. Whether you choose our nine-week small-group class or our peaceful three-day weekend retreat, you’ll have a safe, compassionate space to explore emotions such as grief, anger, guilt, depression, and forgiveness –– all at your own pace.

Healing after abortion isn’t just possible,

it’s life-changing.

With 1 in 4 women having an abortion by age 45, many are quietly carrying feelings of shame, regret, or grief they’ve never felt safe to express. No one should have to suffer in silence.

If you’re ready to take a gentle first step toward understanding your own experience, download our free resource: “Finding Freedom: A 5-Minute Reflection on Healing from Abortion Regret.” Discover how unaddressed emotions may be shaping your life, and how freedom can begin today.

What You’ll Discover in Our FREE Download

Healing after abortion is often more layered than you may expect, and this resource/program is designed to help you understand why.

Through your journey, you will explore what true healing really looks like, why “moving on” doesn’t always mean finding freedom, and how peace is possible even if your experience was many years ago. You will also learn how your own healing can become a source of hope for others walking a similar path.

Rachel’s story

At 16, Rachel chose abortion, hoping it would solve a difficult situation. Instead, it left her carrying deep emotional pain. For years, she tried to cope on her own, but the hurt only grew. At 18, she made an adoption plan for her second pregnancy, a redemptive step, yet the trauma from her abortion remained. After becoming a single mother, she reached a turning point and joined Bridges of Hope. In the supportive, nonjudgmental space, she finally found freedom and healing.
