Colorado is arguably the most abortion-friendly state in the country. Sadly, in our state:
- It is legal to abort a baby up until the moment of birth.
- Our state legislature funds abortion providers from your state taxes.
- We have so-called “shield laws” allowing abortion providers here to ship abortion pills to states that have banned abortion.
In fact, Colorado is the only state where all three of these things are true.
As a life-affirming Christian in one of the most abortion-friendly states, you have to ask … what can I do?

When you do, you’ll be supporting couples like Janie and Michael*. They came to one of our four clinics convinced they weren’t ready to be parents. They’d only recently stopped living in their car and been able to afford housing, and the notion of raising a child felt impossible.
Through your support, we cared for them from the moment they found us online. We met them with compassion and understanding. And we showed them the beating heart of their 7-week old baby through an ultrasound.
They marked “undecided” on their exit form, and from there, we lost touch with them. We’d assumed the worst.
More than a year went by, and Janie returned to one of our centers. We saw from our records she’d visited before. During that appointment, our team confirmed through a medical-grade pregnancy test that this time, she wasn’t pregnant.
And we learned that months before, she’d made the courageous decision to make an adoption plan.
Through your support … another baby’s life was saved. And a different couple was blessed with a child that they desperately wanted.
Put Feet To Your Pro-Life Convictions
It’s for lives like these that we come Together for Life – which is this year’s Walk theme.
You can participate in three different ways:
- Walk: Become a sponsored walker … and then invite friends and family to support you as together, we Walk for Life on June 6. If you have already registered, now is a great time to give an extra gift to sponsor yourself!
- Volunteer: We need more than 200 volunteers on the event day.
- Give: Whether or not you can join us in person, you can still raise funds for this year’s efforts! Or, you can look online here and sponsor someone who is walking.
If you don’t have someone in mind, I’d welcome you supporting my wife and me on our Walk page as we Walk for Life this year.
Last year, because friends like you stepped forward to Walk for Life 557 abortion-vulnerable women chose life for their babies. And over 4,000 spiritual conversations took place with clients who needed prayer, compassion, and the love of Jesus.
Reaching more families this year will require $775,000 to sustain and expand these life-affirming services across Colorado Springs. This is why the Walk for Life matters.
When you sign up, you publicly stand for life in a state where your faithfulness is desperately needed. And you are helping ensure that when the next Janie and Michael walk through our doors, they will find hope, compassion, and meaningful support.
So today, take one simple step and sign up to Walk for Life here.
Together for Life,
Rich Bennett

P.S. If you already know you won’t be able to attend in person, you can still make a powerful impact by sponsoring a walker – or by supporting my wife and me on our Walk page.
