At least 6 times per year, we host Sneak Peeks. These short events are usually held in the evening at our Falcon location. You’ll hear a one-hour presentation from our President/CEO about Life Network and be given a tour of the pregnancy center.

Volunteer Opportunities

Administrative volunteers help with data entry, mailings, copying, filing, answering phones, and other special projects as assigned.
Requirements: Attend a Sneak Peek, complete an application including references, participate in an interview, and undergo a background check. Computer skills are helpful.
Time Commitment: As needed.
Assist by sorting donations, organizing, and stocking the boutiques and resource closets, or in preparing emergency resources for parents in the community.

Time Commitment: Preferably once a week.
Provide support and co-leadership during small group Bible studies to those who are struggling with the effects of their abortion.
Requirements: Attend a Sneak Peek, complete an application including references, participate in an interview, undergo a background check, complete volunteer training, and attend a 4-hour department training.
Time Commitment: Study groups meet once a week for 9 weeks.
Promote the value of life and Life Network’s ministry within your church, acting as a liaison to raise awareness, engage leadership, support fundraising efforts, and communicate the ministry’s mission to the congregation.
Requirements: An active relationship with your church body, awareness of Life Network’s services, a completed application including a pastor reference, an interview, and a brief training on our fundraising events.
Time Commitment: 8 weeks leading up to the Walk for Life
Help make thank-you calls to donors, assemble donor welcome packets, and enter donor information into our database.
Requirements: Attend a Sneak Peek, complete an application including references, participate in an interview with our donor relations team, undergo a background check, and complete volunteer training. Computer skills and good communication skills are a plus.
Time Commitment: As needed.
Education for a Lifetime needs presenters to teach PURSUE, a sexual risk avoidance curriculum offered in local schools and the community. Medical professionals, doctors, nurses, and PAs are also needed to present information on sexually transmitted infections.
Requirements: A completed application including references, participation in an interview, undergo a background check, EFL speaker training, and experience in public speaking or teaching.
Time Commitment: At least one 8-hour day per month
Serve during our Annual Walk for Life or Gala & Silent Auction.
Requirements: Participate in an interview.
Time Commitment: Minimal, typically involving administrative support in the weeks before the event and assistance on the day of the event.
Support our Marketing and Communications team with writing, graphic design, social media management, or web design skills.
Requirements: Attend a Sneak Peek, a completed application, and participate in an interview with the Marketing Team. Marketing skills.
Time Commitment: As needed.
Pray for male clients and the volunteers and staff serving them.
Requirements: Attend a Sneak Peek, complete an application including references, participate in an interview, undergo a background check, and complete Volunteer Training. Training also includes observing experienced Male Client Advocates and Fatherhood Coaches.
Time Commitment: This position requires a 2-hour/week commitment, onsite at any of our four centers.
Serve as a mentor as you walk beside clients, equipping them as they complete our “Earn While You Learn” curriculum. This curriculum contains valuable information on topics such as pregnancy health, prenatal and childhood development, newborn care, and more.
Requirements: A completed application, including references, participation in an interview, a background check, and completion of Volunteer Training. Training includes observing and participating in the Parenthood Program. Those interested must have at least two years of experience parenting a child. Motherhood coaches accompany clients from pregnancy until their baby is two years old.
Time Commitment: 4 hours weekly for at least one year for motherhood, 2-4 weekly for fatherhood.
Serve as a photographer for one of our annual events (Walk for Life or Gala), or help us with one of four mini-session family shoots per year. We offer a $250 booking fee for the photographer’s expenses and free ad space in our Gala program.
Requirements: Photography skills, portfolio, and a completed application with a signed confidentiality agreement.
Time Commitment: As needed for Events and mini-session photo shoots.
Commit to praying daily for our clients, community, volunteers, staff, their families, programs, special events, finances, facilities, etc.
Requirements: Attend a Sneak Peek, a completed application including references, participate in an interview, undergo a background check, and complete volunteer training. Only our on-site intercessors are required to submit a completed application and attend an informal orientation and interview.
Time Commitment: Intercessors can commit to participate in the following ways: 1) pray on-site at Life Network one day a week with other intercessors, 2) pray off-site daily for Life Network with the monthly prayer calendar, or 3) sign up to receive our weekly prayer requests.
Help our female patients who are experiencing an unplanned pregnancy by offering them the support, education, and guidance they may need to make healthy decisions for themselves and their child.
Requirements: A completed application, including references, participation in an interview, a background check, and completion of volunteer training. There will be additional training, which also includes observing experienced Patient Advocates.
Time Commitment: 4 hours per week
Help our male clients who are experiencing an unplanned pregnancy by offering them the support, education, and guidance they may need to make healthy decisions for themselves and their child.
Requirements: A completed application, including references, participation in an interview, and completion of volunteer training. There will be additional training, which also includes observing experienced Patient Advocates.
Time Commitment: 2 hours a week.
Serve as the first point of contact for walk-in patients who may be facing an unexpected pregnancy or have other needs. The position requires projecting warmth, acceptance, and hope as you greet each patient and answer phones, as well as assisting office staff with clerical duties.
Requirements: A completed application, an interview, initial volunteer training -14 hours recommended but not required- and on-site training.
Time Commitment: 2 to 4 times a month, 4-hour day shifts are most needed.
Perform pregnancy tests, provide lay counseling to patients, facilitate medical referrals, answer related medical questions, follow up with patients who test positive, assist doctors and sonographers with ultrasound procedures, and offer medical support to callers.
Requirements: Current medical license, completed application, participation in an interview, initial volunteer training (14 hours), and on-site training (self-paced).
Time Commitment: At least two shifts per month.
Perform ultrasounds and provide medical support to patients.
Requirements: A current license, completed application, participation in an interview, and an in-service orientation.
Time Commitment: At least one shift per month.
This position involves being present in the ultrasound room during ultrasound scanning as a witness to the procedure. Volunteers silently pray for the patient and support the RN as needed. Females only.
Requirements: A completed application, an interview, initial volunteer training (12 hours).
Time Commitment: 2–4 times a month, with 4-hour day shifts or 2-hour evening shifts, or by special arrangement.
You may want to serve with Life Network, but cannot commit to it weekly. Consider joining our short-term and special projects team. We’ll contact you for specific one-time opportunities.
Sales Volunteers are the first faces customers see when entering the Family Thrift Store. This role involves engaging with customers, processing sales, and maintaining a clean and well-organized sales floor. This volunteer position is ideal for sociable, kind, and welcoming individuals who are passionate about helping our customers have the best possible experience.
Requirements: Attend a Sneak Peek, complete the Thrift Store application and orientation, and undergo a background check. Please note that you will need to be comfortable standing for several hours.
Time Commitment: This is a flexible opportunity; you decide the days and times you prefer to volunteer.
This role includes receiving donations as they arrive, sorting and pricing them, and then placing items on the sales floor, helping us ensure that the items on display look their best. You get to be the face of the Store by thanking our generous donors who drop off items for the store. An eye for organization and the ability to lift larger donated items are a plus.

Requirements: All group participants are required to sign a group waiver. We can accommodate 10-12 people at the Academy Thrift Store and 10-15 at the Eastside Thrift Store.

- Both men and women of all ages are welcome to volunteer at Life Network. Volunteers must be at least 21 years old to work with clients.
- Our parenting program requires a minimum of two years of parenting experience.
- Every volunteer must pass a background check, agree to data/client confidentiality, and sign our Statement of Faith.
