What a joy to be Together for Life with over 2,500 life-affirming community participants. June 6 was a beautiful day at Memorial Park, and we could not have pulled this off without the faithful prayers, participation, and sponsorship of partners like you. Thanks to your support, we have raised $$620,092.70 … and gifts are still being counted.
When you Walk for Life, you show families they are not alone. For military families like Annie* and Tyler*, an unexpected pregnancy adds to existing stress.
Annie* came to our center alone. Her husband Tyler* was deployed, she was already caring for their three-year-old daughter, and she had just found out she was pregnant again.
She was honest with our staff from the start. “I know I wouldn’t want an abortion,” she said, “but I need prayer. I don’t know what I’m going to do.”
Our advocate walked alongside her — sharing parenting and adoption information, connecting her to practical resources, and helping her find a local church with a strong military community. She didn’t have to carry this alone while Tyler was away.
When Tyler returned home, the couple came back to the center together. After praying and talking through their options, they decided to parent. In a season where military life could have left them feeling alone, they were reminded that they had support, encouragement, and people willing to walk alongside them.
