Chelsea* was far along in her pregnancy when she came to our center, and she was determined to have an abortion. She had heard we offered no-cost ultrasounds, and that’s why she walked through our door.
Then she met her baby on the screen.
Chelsea was no longer set on abortion. But she wasn’t at peace, either. She was still wrestling and she still had real needs. At 30 weeks, she hadn’t received a single prenatal appointment.
Because of your generosity, we could offer her more than a test and an ultrasound. Through our Early Pregnancy Care program, Chelsea began receiving the medical support she and her baby needed.
After her first appointment, she reached out by text:
“Hi! We are actually going to keep the baby! Our family is super happy and supportive. I’m excited!”
