I am delighted to share some news with you today. Life Network has officially earned accreditation from the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).
AAAHC is an independent, nationally recognized organization that accredits outpatient health care, including medical practices, surgery centers, and university student health centers. As part of the process, their surveyor came onsite and reviewed our clinical practices, policies, safety procedures, and facilities. They held us to the same standards they apply to every organization they accredit, and not every organization that goes through the survey receives it.
Every week, an average of 60 women and men trust us with their health – and their babies’ lives. The care they receive needs to be excellent. That is what this accreditation confirms.
Why We Give the Lord Our Best
Some have said that pregnancy centers are somehow “less than” and not real medical clinics. Beyond simply asserting otherwise, we chose to invite an independent third party to examine our work and hold it to a national standard.
Colossians 2:23-24 says, “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.” This ministry belongs to God, and He deserves our best effort. The women and families who walk through our doors deserve our best too.
Earlier this year, I wrote to you about new legislation that takes effect next year that will make abortion drugs available on college campuses without requiring an in-person medical evaluation. Women deserve better. They deserve compassionate care, clear medical oversight, and the assurance that the people caring for them are accountable to the highest professional standards.
You Share In This Milestone
Reaching this point took more than a year of work and preparation from our dedicated staff and medical team. They reviewed and strengthened our policies, completed training, and prepared carefully for every part of the survey. I am deeply proud of them.
Beyond the hard-fought recognition, the work required to achieve this major accreditation milestone made us even better.
And it was possible because of you. Your generosity funded the training, systems, and staffing needed to meet these standards. That is the kind of excellence your partnership makes possible.
