A young military couple was considering abortion. Then they found us.
When Kila* found out she was pregnant, she and her boyfriend were a young military couple and not prepared to be parents. Abortion seemed like the clearest way forward for them. She had made that choice once before and felt like she would go through with it again. So she did what most young women do today. She picked up her phone to search for answers … and an abortion.
Because of you, Kila found Life Network instead.
Kila came to us first, having no previous medical care for the pregnancy, she had a lot of questions about abortion and parenting. She told us she wasn’t spiritual, though she did give permission for our patient advocate to share the hope of the gospel. Kila said she wasn’t ready to make that commitment yet, but that maybe one day she would be. That seed has been planted, and we are praying for her.
Our nurse, Sarah, then sat down with Kila to talk through her medical concerns and performed an ultrasound so she could see her preborn baby for herself. Her boyfriend joined her in the room, and together they received honest, caring information about every option in front of them.
A short time later, Kila sent us this text:
“Good afternoon, we have decided to move forward with the pregnancy with our OBGYN on base. We really appreciated all the help your clinic offered us, especially from nurse Sarah, she made the entire ultrasound experience very easy, informative and comfortable. Thank you!”
A family is growing today because you made it possible for us to reach Kila first.
Her story is one of many made possible when you answered our call this spring to help us Reach Her First. Together, you gave more than $105,00 so we could be present online at the very moment a woman searches for abortion. Your generosity, along with fresh ideas from some of our tech-savvy friends and new members of our team, has allowed us to launch social media ads, build new landing pages, begin developing YouTube ads, and invest more fully in the search advertising we already know works.
Women are noticing. Since our social media campaign launched in July, more women and families have been walking through our doors. In August, pregnancy tests were up 27% and ultrasounds were up 28% compared to last year, and in the first week of September, we performed twice as many ultrasounds as the same week in 2025. Each of those appointments represents a woman like Kila who was met with truth, compassion, and hope.
Thank you for helping us reach her first. We are so grateful to stand alongside you in this work Together for Life.
With gratitude,
